Drawn with pencil, inked with a black ballpoint pen, coloured on Photoshop. Textures are from here and here.

Yes, those are little hair cats in her palm.

Pen, coloured pencils and watercolours on pastel paper.

Pen, coloured pencils and watercolours on pastel paper (hence the texture).

silly coloured pencil sketches

gift art: shiri for mother's day

The paper quality is kind of crappy but this painting was fun to do :)

gift art: iron man

Iron Man watercolour painting for Leonard :)

fall

From my sketchbook, coloured on Photoshop.

gift art: little twin stars

This is for my friend Crystal :)

Sigh, my watercolours look way better on paper than they do in scans!

captain nom

You can imagine how bored I was when I decided to draw Captain Nom, the captain of my ship in my Lil' Pirates iPhone game -_-

Lineart in pencil, scanned and coloured digitally on photoshop.

indian girl

I wanted an excuse to draw a sari, and this was loads of fun to do!

costumes and designs

IT'S TIME FOR SOME MEN!! Ignore the half-assed weapons and shoes.

The Bandit

The Blacksmith

The Senile Old King With Spikes On His Back

This one's coloured 'cause I wanted to try Lesley's colouring method out. I found manual colouring very tedious, so I still prefer drawing directly on PS!

And of course I still had to draw some women because they are extraordinarily fun to draw:

Random princess and my old abandoned undead mage, Ra'oka

Blehhh the left edge of the page is all blurry because my notebook's bound like a basic hardcover book and it's difficult to scan things. Also, I think I have to clean the scanner because the images look dirty..

old art

Done in 2008:

Gothic Lolita and Ganguro

self-censorship

the lion and the...

UNICORN!!!!!! :)

... sigh, my colours never come out a hundred per cent right on the screen :/

frustration

The people I draw are usually female or expressionless (most often, both), so for a change I decided to draw this. I have to admit, I'm not wonderful with capturing facial expressions, but I intend to practice lots and get better so my characters don't look so colourless.

oarfish

Scanner quality isn't fantastic, unfortunately :(

Oarfish are one of my favourite sea creatures. I finally finished this after a week, which is a long time for me but it's okay because I know I didn't work on this every day.

pokemon gijinkas

Photographed because my scanner is still dead.

Drew these in my school notebook a couple of weeks ago, because I am a fan of pokemon gijinkas. I love to see how different artists anthropomorphise their pokemon. Click to enlarge!

pond in rain

It was raining today, so I took a photo and referenced it for this painting...

This is the largest watercolour piece I've done so far (24x32cm). I think it turned out all right! I should do more large paintings. I also have to learn how to make full use of the translucency of watercolour paints. My style is too thick and heavy; I'd like a little more atmosphere and lightness.

Original photo. Yes, I wasn't going for photographic accuracy.

ingredients for sleep

Here are characters from four childrens' bedtime stories. Can you recognise them? They're surrounded by floating lavender because its scent is soft, soothing and calming.

lavender lacerations

I did a pen drawing of a bunny with lavender marks on its body but my art teacher says they look like lacerations. Sleeping bunny has become dead bunny after wolf attack.

Medium: pen on silk, touched up in photoshop.
