moved!

I will be posting my art on pixie-souls on Tumblr from now on because it seems that it will give me more freedom to post sketchier images. Also, the reblog button is a really useful feature for an illustration blog to have.

I hope the move will also help me to find a more consistent illustration style; my Blogger has featured so many different types and I don't know if I'm really going anywhere with too much experimentation! So to get me started I've only moved a few pixieveins images to my new blog.

Click here or on the image link below to find me on pixie-souls!

ainyr

Speed drawing of my old World of Warcraft night elf hunter, Ainyr. Here she is at level 41 when I abandoned her, hence the crappy gear. She has a pet jaguar but I was lazy to draw it :(

Drawn with pencil, inked with a black ballpoint pen, coloured on Photoshop. Textures are from here and here.

Yes, those are little hair cats in her palm.

soul

Pen, coloured pencils and watercolours on pastel paper.

Pen, coloured pencils and watercolours on pastel paper (hence the texture).

elesa

My love for Elesa's character design inspired me to draw  her some time back, but I only got around to finishing the half-done sketch today. Here she is with her Zebstrika and two irritating Emolga.

time for some hideous colours

nails

Speed drawing! Inspired by my friends, who were buying pretty nail polish colours at a weekend flea market.

town

In my head the town was smaller and uninhabited but at least I made an attempt to draw it. Click to enlarge :)

"build it bigger than the sun"

That's a line from Death Cab For Cutie's song, 'You Are A Tourist', to remind me to stay alive and motivated.

fall

From my sketchbook, coloured on Photoshop.

gift art: little twin stars

This is for my friend Crystal :)

Sigh, my watercolours look way better on paper than they do in scans!
