... I really have to draw fewer girls but I am just so artistically constipated now I just had to draw the first thing that came to my mind :(

speed painting: observation of a young girl on a grassy slope
I went for a walk today and I thought I'd capture this scene that really struck me. I didn't see her face because her back was to me, but I thought it was a lovely sight.

Qirame again. This picture is for her petpage. Don't ask why I bother :)

qirame the aisha
I remember the days when I would be so enthusiastic about designing Qirame's webpage and character. Recently, Lesley inspired me to go back to Neopets and bring my purple Aisha back to life! Here she is, in human form, with her pet Quetzal.
When I first conceptualised her, I imagined her to be eccentric and irritating and now I've decided to keep her that way. In this picture she wears a squid scarf (I FINALLY BOUGHT ONE KEKEKE).
I think I've found a colouring style that I like :)

frustration
The people I draw are usually female or expressionless (most often, both), so for a change I decided to draw this. I have to admit, I'm not wonderful with capturing facial expressions, but I intend to practice lots and get better so my characters don't look so colourless.

oarfish
Scanner quality isn't fantastic, unfortunately :(
Oarfish are one of my favourite sea creatures. I finally finished this after a week, which is a long time for me but it's okay because I know I didn't work on this every day.
